Dejector is Newcastle-born, London-based producer Scott Nelson. A project borne from isolation, Dejector’s heartfelt strain of production feels at home both in headphones and on the dancefloor. Aching vocals cut from samples sit over field recordings and lilting percussion, framing a sound that’s poignant, uplifting and emotionally mature. As a live multi-instrumentalist who draws from the rich lineage of the UK underground; Dejector’s brand of electronic music has the DNA of club culture running through it while keeping its emotional, melancholy core.
