Biography
After being the first-ever artist to sign a multi-release deal with Eric Prydz’s Pryda Friends, the Swedish DJ, producer, and label founder has become one of the most highly regarded artists in melodic house and techno. Olander released multiple EPs, and remixes, recorded a shortlisted BBC Essential Mix, and performed at iconic venues Madison Square Garden in New York City and Brixton Academy in London alongside Prydz. Following his departure from Pryda Friends in 2014 to pursue Vivrant, his own imprint and event series, he released original music on some of the dance music's most respected imprints, such as Berlin institution Watergate, Sasha’s Last Night On Earth, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode and UK behemoth Anjunadeep. Olander has remixed acts in the likes of Tove Lo, Henry Saiz, Sailor & I, and Digitalism and became the first Nordic act to play for French streaming giant Cercle, with his set amassing over 1.4 million views. In 2020, he released a career-first mix album on legendary Australian imprint Balance, joining an alumni in the likes of Kölsch, Stacey Pullen, and Patrice Baumel.
