Biography

Yvng Tella is an artist/entrepreneur who was raised in New York. From the early age of 3, he began studying instruments such as the guitar, piano, and drums due to his passion for swaying his head to cartoon theme songs, instrumental beats, or anything with music in it. Around the age of 9, Tella began working with a voice coach because his family always commented on how beautiful his voice was. Driven by his self-confidence and passion for music, he competed in numerous talent shows and posted both youtube and Instagram videos to broadcast his talents by performing covers of popular songs. It was not until June 2018 that Tella started to write music himself. 
 Besides music, Tella has been involved in many sports, such as basketball, soccer, baseball, and track, from a young age. After being sidelined from action due to an ankle injury, this left time to discover new hobbies; one of those hobbies was songwriting. The injury from basketball made him upset, and creating music was an outlet to express how he felt. Growing up surrounded by music has significantly impacted the development of Tella’s flows and melodic style. Two years later, he has amassed over 30 million streams across all platforms independently. Tella knew that his voice needed to be heard, and since day one, he has put his mind to making that happen. The world is Tella’s for the taking.
