Biography
Teddy Swims is an anomaly - reigning from Atlanta, GA - he is a powerhouse vocalist and pop artist who blends genres from pop to soul, hip-hop, and R&B. Teddy grew up navigating different worlds: he was a football player, a musical theater student and the grandson of a Pentecostal pastor. Teddy was exposed to a wider variety of music than most “country boys”. Starting in high school and over the next few years he performed in several bands, genres ranging from 80’s hair metal, funk, modern metalcore, soul, and country alternative bands, all lending a hand in making who Teddy is as an artist today. In March of 2019, Teddy went on his first US tour as a solo artist - a truly freeing experience that allowed him to expand into uncharted territory with him beginning to tell his own story. Since then, Teddy began to explore and blend the various genres he loves: metal, pop-punk, soul/funk, country, gospel, r&b, and show-tunes, into one that is Teddy Swims. Fast forward to 2023 - Teddy has captured the ears of millions with a multitude of viral covers, top original hits, and collaborations that have amassed a massive fanbase worldwide. He has performed and sold out shows in the US, Australia, and UK - and is continuing with a world tour this summer and fall. His first single of 2023, "What More Can I Say" comes out May 5th with new music coming till the end of the year.
