Industry, respected highly. In the streets, protected. DĖMI (deh-mi) is an independent R&B Filipino artist based in Manila whose sounds are influenced by the likes of Kiana Lede, Kehlani, UMI, Jhéne Aiko, etc., which is an effect of her listening to international and local R&B artists & rappers growing up. 
 Influenced by her environment as a teen, she was inclined with Filipino R&B / rap music. Thus, DĖMI’s sounds are described as a fusion of international and local music as she continues to produce Tagalong-English tracks.
