Biography

Dzulfahmi , born in 1998, was already a rapper with a prolific run in his five years of career, which started back in 2016. Now he is lauded as one of the illest spitter in town, along with other members of Def Bloc, a collective union of rappers and producers he joined in 2017. Beside his main collective, he's also actively rapping in Dreamfilled and Spacekidz collective. Despite being a college freshman when he released Nirwana, his first EP with Da Kriss, a producer from Def Bloc, Dzulfahmi already succeeded in delivering his POV as a deep observer of the town's life. Citing DOOM, Freddie Gibbs, ATCQ, Noname and Madlib as early influences and Griselda, Boldy James, The Alchemist and Evidence as recent favorites, Dzulfahmi has now developed a signature style that he was striving from the beginning: a multisyllabic rhyme combined with a clever wordplay, delivered in a clear-cut voice of rapping that makes listener could easily digest even the most complex line with intertwined metaphor and entendres. His recent release, Worst Manifesto, another joint EP with a Def Bloc producer Prime Manifez, became a top-selling album for almost two months in The Store Front platform. Currently he's working on his upcoming material; continuing his magic trick in the form of rhyme-and-poetry, packed with either tight or drumless beats that he will serve for every hip-hop heads in the country who long for a great rap album by a fresh and skilled young MC. -Adib Arkan
