Biography

Maléna (real name Arpine Martoyan) is fifteen-year-old singer songwriter from Armenia. She was born in Yerevan on 10 of January in 2007. Malena started singing since she was 5. She started attending vocal classes when she was 6. She also studied in Sayat Nova musical school for seven years and learnt how to play the Cello. In 2018 she participated in national selection for JESC but failed in first semifinal. In 2019 she signed a contract with label TKN Entertainment and started working with Armenian songwriter and producer tokionine. In 2020 Malena got selected to represent Armenia in JESC, but due the war ongoing Nagorno Karabakh country withdrew. Maléna released the single “Why” written by tokionine, which was meant to be for JESC 2020. In 2021 she released a feat with Russian well known singer and rapper Kristina Si “Chem Haskanum”. The song goes viral and had a huge success and become a hit. After that she got selected for Junior Eurovision again and participated with song “Qami Qami” also written by tokionine and others including Maléna which brought her a victory in JESC.
