Biography

Emma Muscat is a 23-year-old Maltese singer-songwriter and pianist who has been playing the piano and singing since the age of 5. Emma uses her velvety voice to express herself and her feelings. Her career in the popular Italian competition and TV show 'Amici di Maria de Filippi' led her to signing up with the Record Label, Warner Music in July 2018. Her first album "Moments" entered the top ten of the FIMI chart for three consecutive weeks preceded by the single "I Need Somebody". Emma performed at Isle of MTV 2018 together with Jason Derulo, Hailee Steinfeld and Sigala and in 2019 with Martin Garrix, Bebe Rexha and Ava Max. She also duetted with Italian idol Eros Ramazzotti, the famous international Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja and was the opening act for Rita Ora and Martin Garrix. Emma had the honour of performing alongside international artists such as Alvaro Soler and Alice Merton to name a few. She has performed at the prestigious Arena di Verona in Italy and at the 'Concerto di Natale’ at the Vatican. Following numerous releases and collaborations, Emma's music combined has reached over 80 million video & audio streams, with her singles 'Sangria' and 'Meglio di Sera' being awarded the gold certification by the Federazione Industria Musicale Italiana (FIMI), one of the most prestigious accolades in the music world. Her latest achievement is winning the Malta Eurovision Song Contest and she will represent her country Malta, in Turin, Italy in May 2022.
