Nefertitti Avani is an American singer, songwriter, producer, and actress. Born and raised in Cleveland Ohio, Nefertitti began gaining recognition in her hometown by writing and recording original songs and posting them on platforms like SoundCloud and Reverbnation in 2011. From there, Avani gained a local fan base and started performing around the city. She dropped a mixtape in 2014 which led to various Ohio music organizations recognizing Avani’s talents with nominations and award winning titles such as “best female vocalist” and “best R&B artist” from 2015 to 2021. Avani’s collaboration with a local producer, V1 began her music industry introduction. Nefertitti’s songwriting capabilities led V1 to present Avani’s music to Missy Elliott in 2015 and then Teddy Riley in 2018 resulting in various music projects. From there, Nefertitti has climbed her way up, getting collaborations with industry producers like LT Hutton (Prod. of Ashanti), Cool & Dre (Prod. of JayZ and Beyoncé) Brian Alexander Morgan (Prod. of SWV), Ltmoe (Prod. of Rick Ross) , Troy Taylor (Prod. of Trey Songs) , Keith Sweat, Jellyroll (Prod. of juicy j) , Battlecat (Prod. of Snoop Dogg) Jdub (Prod. of Diddy) , Bink (Prod. of JayZ), Needlz (Prod. of Cardi B) and more. Avani records at her home studio, and is now working on multiple albums for herself as well as other artists. She recently released her new single, “Raw” produced by Keys Da Producer, which is currently available on all streaming platforms.
