Biography

During its 13 year existence, Dutch band Solution has constantly been exploring various musical fields. Debuting as a freeform progressive combo with jazz influences, their music evolved into typical seventies freshly - produced music - both vocal and instrumental. Their studio albums can easily be categorized in pairs. The first two EMI-albums (Solution & Divergence), followed by the two Rocket albums (Cordon Bleu & Fully Interlocking) and the two CBS albums (It’s Only Just Begun & Runaway): all bearing the distinctive and typical sound of the age they were made in. The albums Cordon Bleu, Fully Interlocking, It's Only Just Begun & Runaway are expanded & exclusively remastered from the original master tapes. As a bonus, several single versions added to the first 3 mentioned albums. A crowd favourite 100 Words is now released as a single version. In 2006 Solution was back on stage after 23 years. In 2007 the DVD Live - Reunion concert in club Panama of this wonderful performance was released. Now re-mastered from the original masters Live at Panama - Reunion 2006 in two parts released. We are currently working on the production of a deluxe Solution CD box containing the band's full catalogue.
