Biography

Charlotte Martin is an American singer songwriter, pianist, music producer and sought after vocal teacher/coach. After studying opera 17 years and graduating with a bachelors degree in opera performance, Martin had her closest friend commit suicide in college which led to her writing her first song in piano and eventually moving to Los Angeles to sign with major labels RCA records, Universal/Fontana, Dreamworks publishing and Bongload Records. Charlotte has had her music featured regularly on film and hit tv shows like So You Think You Can Dance and writes music specifically for dancers. Charlotte now runs her school Something Like A Music School and Something Like a Label from California and works with artists, singers and musicians around the world in 14 countries and counting. Her 19th album due out on 2024 will feature songs written with her songwriting students. Charlotte is currently producing artists, teaching and touring to promote her own music. Charlotte Martin
