International recording artist, Tasha LaRae is blazing her trail around the world with soulful house & R&B vocals that will keep you dancing & feeling optimistic about life. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Tasha dove; head first, into the Atlanta music scene after relocating in 2000. Working as a vocalist for hire, her soulful vocals eventually caught the attention of Speech from 2X Grammy award winning group, Arrested Development. By 2008, Ms. LaRae began traveling with the iconic hip-hop trailblazers as their new lead female vocalist. While touring with the band, Tasha continued to cultivate her songwriting skills by releasing several independent EPs (The Tasha LaRae EP, 2010, Light EP, 2018) & joining forces with her band mates to write & sing on several Arrested Development albums including Strong 2009, Craft & Optics 2018 & many more. In 2016, Ms. LaRae released her first house music single, “Find My Way”, on Quantize Recordings and it opened the door for a flood of hit singles on Traxsource including, “Never Be Alone”, “Ready” and two classic remakes, “Wish I Didn’t Miss You” (originally by Angie Stone) & “I Need Your Lovin’” (originally by Teena Marie). Her debut LP 'Tasha' will be released November 2019 on the Quantize Recordings Label. “Life is a beautiful experience. It’s not always easy and things don’t always go our way but no matter what happens, we have to keep going. I make music for people in motion”. – Tasha LaRae
