Biography
Combining sonic sounds of arena rock from the 70's and 80's along with current contemporary country undertones, Patrick Carpenter has combined his two loves along with screaming, fat guitar lines. Inspired by the legendary guitar players that have come before such as Richie Sambora , Eric Clapton , Van Halen and modern players such as Brad Paisley, Keith Urban and John Mayer, Patrick Carpenter is trying to define a genre by taking it back to the past by keeping a foot it in the present. Following the success of his 2018 EP “Coming Back Stronger,” Carpenter's debut album "Friday Night Hallelujah" debuted at #3 on the iTunes Singer/Songwriter charts paving a way for Carpenter's solo career. After spending his first few years in Nashville as a primary lead guitar player for several acts, Carpenter has created a path his own. Carpenter has opened for iconic artist such as Sheryl Crow and has spent the past year selling out venues across the United States. Everyday is a great day to get better and Patrick doesn't see an end in sight on this venture. In 2020, Carpenter released a few new singles from his upcoming sophomore album. Songs such as "Bottle Time" and "Meet Mama" are showing Carpenter's more traditional country side, which is where his heart truly lies. "I would love to say I was raised on Haggard and Waylon, but I honestly wasn't. Im a 90's baby, but I was raised on Brooks & Dunn, Brad Paisley, Keith Urban." The journey of a 1000 miles begins with a single step.
