Biography
Psyph Morrison, Creator of Basshead Music is a product of Stockton, CA where his love of heavy basslines and lyrical hip hop blended and thrives. Influenced early on by the lyrics and bass usage of Bay Area artist Too $hort and refined by car rides with his uncle's blaring subwoofers, birthed what is now known as the epitome of a basshead artist and Psyph Morrison himself, raw lyrics with heavily bass filled beats. In his teens, Psyph was writing for actors and was quickly signed. Upon release from the label he was free to drop the infamous, "Bass Monster" mix tape. This developed his international fan base and boosted his career as an underground artist. With the success of the 7 albums and 1 ep, which include the prevalent Basshead classics, 'All I gotta do is hit her" and "Thrash Hella", Psyph further solidified his following and he recently debuted his Basshead by Psyph Morrison merchandise. His real life lyrics over dope beats with deep bass continues his innovation uniting the hip hop and diverse bassheads scene. He continues this in 2021, where he is set to release a new album, develop his first car audio product, as well as traveling the car show circuit and touring, bringing his talent and bass to a new level.
