In 2006, she became the first Turkish musician to graduate from the "The Aaron Copland School of Music" at Queens College, NY with an award, where she got her Master's degree in jazz performance and was a student of the living legend Sheila Jordan . She performs in prestigious festivals and clubs in Turkey and abroad regularly. Her widely acclaimed debut "MUSIC" is the first jazz vocal album in Turkey with all original songs in English and the first that is written and arranged by a jazz vocalist. She won the title "Best Jazz Performer" by Radio Bogazici Music Awards three times. Performing and recording with some of the most important jazz musicians in Turkey (like Çağrı Sertel, Alp Ersönmez, Volkan Öktem for SONIC BOOM, and Ediz Hafızoğlu, Ilhan Ersahin, İmer Demirer, Cenk Erdoğan, Selen Gülün on the albums, to name a few). Caglar has released four albums, two of them featuring world famous American ( "Misfit" with Aaron Parks , Harish Raghavan , and Eric Harland ) and Italian jazz figures ("Come Me Come Te" with Teo Ciavarella , Domingo Muzietti, Massimo Manzi, Massimo Giovannini.)
