Las Marikarmen es una banda travesti nutrida del transfeminismo y lo queer. Musicote urbano, vientos desgarradores, performance, visuales y mucho bailoteo. Han tocado en grandes escenarios como: Apolo 1 y Parallel 62 Barcelona; Attention festival (Alemania), Italia... Nuestra madre Lady Marikarmen, fue una gran pionera en la lucha transfeminista. Tras su muerte queremos honrar homenaje a su legado y continuar su lucha: destruir el heteropatriarcado, la cis-normalidad y el binarismo obligado. @lasmarikarmen 🎷🦖 English >> Las Marikarmen is a feminist and queer project in which music, performance, drag, and living together are mixed. We organize ourselves horizontally and bring this concept to the stage, where we all sing, dance, play instruments, do performance, video… and whatever else it takes! In the House of Las Marikarmen there’s our mother, Lady Marikarmen, a great pioneer in the transfeminist world. After her death, we want to honor her legacy and continue her fight: to destroy the hetero-patriarchy, cis-normality and the forced binary.
