Biography

WOODS OF BIRNAM entered the music scene in early 2011 when actor and musician Christian Friedel met Uwe Pasora, Philipp Makolies, Ludwig Bauer and Christian Grochau in Dresden, Germany. 10 years later - the band quickly evolved from an Indie pop band into a band known for writing theater music (Hamlet, Searching for William, Macbeth, 1984) and cinema music (Elser, Honig im Kopf, Babylon Berlin). The band’s music knows no boundaries and combines different genres to create its very own language. Their sixth album “Dorian” has just been released, along with an extravagant short film.
