CASHÆ is a Grammy-Nominted Producer DJ duo from Miami known for their head turning productions and 'TRAPICAL' originals - a unique blend Pop, EDM, Trap, and Latin-Caribbean influences. Alex 'Abomb' grew up in Puerto Rico, Honduras, and Miami, while Joey Barrios is Cuban-Canadian from Miami. Together, they formed CASHAE in 2016 after meeting in music school and discovering their ability to weave together genres using electronic and live instrumentation. Soon after their first independent singles landed on top blogs and playlists, they began producing originals and remixes for Sony, Atlantic, and Roc Nation artists. In 2018, they teamed up with Tep No to release their song ‘Need to Know’ feat. Toian. In 2019, they scored the HBO Film 'Make Love Great Again'. Their original ‘Endless Summer’, debuted on New Music Friday in 13 countries and top editorial playlists, reaching over 9 million streams and landing them on MTV's 'Artists to Watch'. This momentum led Music-News.com to name them 'Miami's fastest growing and most sought-after production outfits.' In 2020, they signed a production deal for their Latin works with Good Family Group, receiving a grammy nomination in 2021 for Best Urban Music album for their production on Eladio Carrion's, Monarca ('Mala Mia 2'). Recent musical collabs include Sebastian Yatra, Mau y Ricky, Eladio Carrion, Jesse y Joy, Tep No, The Spill Canvas, Lost Kings, Jocelyn Alice, Cris Cab, Kiddo AI, Tory Lanez, Emily Brimlow, SMLE, and Kevin Gates.
