Aldrian Risjad consistently navigates his rock music journey. The Jakarta-based musician forges his work with the energy of the past, presenting it in a way that today's era can digest. Aldrian's ability to experiment with rock music earned him an AMI Award and the opportunity to work with various musicians such as Iga Massardi, Lafa Pratomo (Swadaya Insani), Hindia and Sajama Cut. Aldrian Risjad gets musical influences from various kinds of rock energy such as Led Zeppelin, Mr. Big, Kings of Leon, Nothing But Thieves, Dewa and Padi. In creating music, Aldrian often brings up daily issues and wraps them with his personal stories and thoughts. He believes that although everyone has a different personal story, there will still be a common thread over these stories that makes them relevant. Aldrian’s music is also born to be thought provocative and to create dialogue. Some of Aldrian Risjad's repertoire has achieved good things. His debut single "Milk Candy" earned him a nomination for 'Best Male/Female/Rock Instrumental Solo Artist' at the AMI Awards. One year later, it was "State of Uncertainty" which made him re-nominated for the same category. In 2022, Aldrian Risjad released "Berlari Pelan di Kota yang Cepat", a crunchy pop-rock song that many listeners easily enjoyed. He plans to release his first full album in 2023. Aldrian is a rock music bridge for today's listeners. Like a true rock musician, he can take responsibility for that, especially when performing on stage.
