Biography

Avhath is a quintet metal/hardcore unit from Jakarta, Indonesia. Members consist of Satan's Heir, BxP, Kvvlt, Svnn, and Yvd. They made their debut in the underground scene in 2012 and gained notoriety in between with their constant material releases. They have just released a new single in 2023 under the wing of Remedy Waloni of The Trees and The Wild as their co-producer in Avhath's most brooding and retrospective song to date, Return to Sender. Avhath music can be described as extreme and pulverizing, combining dark soundscapes with monolithic black metal riffs accompanied by crust punk beatdowns, Avhath crawled down under and beneath the abyssal gaze and came with immense influential black metal acts to date. Their Live performances incorporate dark red lighting theatric, to capture the foreboding doom that allows no one to escape from the dark itself. From splits to EPs, Avhath has become one of the powerhouses in the underground scene, winning the AMI Awards for best metal production two times in 2019 for The Annual Horrors and in 2021 for FELO DE SE.
