Biography

The Stoned Immaculate formed in Glasgow in 2018. They are made up of songwriter Louis Jamieson, Harrison Todd (bass), Callum Hughes (guitar) and Scott Lennon (drums). And now that line up has extended to Emmy Leishman, Ross Mills and Evangelene Hayes, all doing various additional instrumentation and vocals. Drawing inspiration from the experimental songwriting of MGMT and The Flaming Lips, The Stoned Immaculate aren't defined by a specific genre. Sampling the dance and neo-psychedelic sound of the Happy Mondays and psychotic Stranglers-esque basslines The Stony Macs have strived to carve out a sound and sensibility that is uniquely their own, yet different every time. While they impressed in support of bands such as Calva Louise and LIFE before the pandemic, they have since released 3 EPs and sold out all their headline shows, making them one of Glasgow's most prolific and sought after bands. Their fourth EP ‘Whatever.’ just came out on the 26th of May, produced by Chris McCrory. Always onto the next thing, they’re currently working on a new type of project, said to be released deep into Summer.
