Biography

Gee Watts, a Kansas City based emcee, a forward thinker and a conscious man. In 2011 Kendrick Lamar tweeted "Follow this young boi Gee Watts, You'll hear his name one day". Fast forward to 2013, Gee Watts surfaced the internet with a song, "Watts R.I.O.T." featuring hip-hop crown holder Kendrick Lamar, the song which was supposed to be on good kid, m.A.A.d city, was placed on Gee Watts debut mixtape "Watts Up". Soon after he caught legal problems and was sent to jail and release with probation to serve. In the midst of his case and post-case he released a some music videos and sophmore project "199x". In 2014, The double feature music video "Gator Dance/Dreams" caught the eye of Independent Hip-Hop Legend Tech N9ne who praised Gee for his lyrical talent. In 2014 he released his third project, "Kansas City State of Mind" which was published in the local newspaper for it's in-depth story telling of life in the inner city of Kansas City's infamous Northside. Since then Gee Watts has been building his own brand and record company, CaviArt, with a team of artist, producers and creatives. September 2017, Gee Watts was released off probation and now is working on his heavily anticipated project, CaviArt (The Album).
