Biography

Shortiie Raw is a Canadian rapper, and one of the hottest female artists in Toronto. Born in Lisbon, Portugal she came to Canada as a refugee at the age of 6 from Angola after the war located in South Africa. 
 Shortiie started rapping at the age of 9 gaining inspiration from confident, talented female lyricists such as Foxy Brown, Missy Elliot, Lil Kim, Nicki Minaj and many more. In recent years she has honed her artistic capabilities, established a core fan base, and built her brand through modelling and collaborating with other companies. She has been seen with multiple different acts such as Jose Guapo, Molly Brazy, Chief Keef, just to name a few. Fans often compare her sound to artists such as Lil Uzi Vert, Tyga, while giving an image resembling a young Lil Kim. 
 Shortiie Raw has had great support from Spotify’s New Music Friday playlists in Canada. She has also been included in editorial playlists such as Northern Bars with a couple of songs and is currently in an editorial playlist entitled "This is Fresh". With only 5 songs on Spotify, she has accumulated 661K streams in total with the editorial playlist support.
