Biography
In 2015, Jake founded his own record label, Swaggertown Records, and signed himself as the 1st artist. Aside from his music career, Jake has been mentoring upcoming artists and producers, helping them with music tips and managing their careers. His record label, Swaggertown Records, is named after the road he grew up on, "Swaggertown Road". Jake's breakout single "A Bizarre Cypher" featuring D12, released in late 2016, has surpassed three million streams on Spotify. In 2020, he collaborated with Afroman on "420", which has received over four million views on YouTube. He has also released several songs from his debut album Cloud 9, including "09" and "People Things & Places". In 2021, Jake released five singles, including "Nasty" featuring Maino, "FlameThrower" with Jarren Benton and MC Bravado, "Upstate Greats" with Jadakiss & Vado, "Take The Product" with Cassidy, and "Hip-Notized" with Dizzy Wright. In 2022, he released "Rap Money", "Bars & Flows", "Play The Role", and "Shooting Stars" featuring The Game & Mario Canon. Jake has been featured in various hip-hop publications such as The Source, Revolt TV, Lyrical Lemonade, Worldstar, Allhiphop, ThisIs50, Yahoo News, Hip-Hop Weekly, Kazi Magazine, The Hype Magazine, Earmilk, and LA Weekly, among others. In 2022, Jake peaked at #67 on the Hip-Hop/Rap chart on iTunes with his single "Wanna Be Rappers". He continues to make waves in the music industry and has a promising future ahead of him.
