Biography
For over 20 years, Lee Jones, from Essex, UK, has regularly played in the clubs of his adopted home of Berlin, such as KaterBlau, Sisyphos and Watergate, and throughout the world in over 30 countries. As a producer he has been through many changes. After his successful downtempo beginnings as Hefner, remixing the likes of 4Hero, Cinematic Orchestra, Fink and Lamb, he quickened the tempo as MyMy with Berghain resident Nick Höppner on labels such as Ostgut Ton, Playhouse and Cocoon, then refined his cinematic, jazz infused sound with releases as Lee Jones on Cityfox, Watergate Records and Aus Music. Recently he has returned to his downtempo roots on Amselcom and Bar 25, and continues to remix for labels such as Anjunadeep and BPitch. In 2020 Jones founded the label Mad As Hell.
