Hailing from Boston, Massachusetts, rapper/songwriter Kleo uses dreary, melancholic vocals to deliver poetically relatable lyrics over melodic yet gloomy instrumentals. For Kleo, it has always been about leaving his emotions on a record in order to tell a story, whether they be sadness, frustration, acceptance or relentlessness. Citing rappers like Isaiah Rashad, Lucki, and Kendrick Lamar as his influences, he began making music a decade ago, releasing his first full length project titled Battle Damaged in the summer of 2019.
