Biography
Damara Melissa is a Christian Singer/Songwriter from Ontario Canada. She started writing songs at 19, after losing her father. While desiring to share her music for years, the racial upheaval events of 2020 finally gave her the push she needed to step out in faith. Damara ran a successful crowdfunding campaign to bring her debut EP "Beginnings" to life in 2022, and was subsequently nominated for Canadian Covenant Award "Breakthrough Artist of the Year". She's been featured in MB Magazine, an online magazine for the black community, and her EP songs have had airplay on Canadian Christian Radio. One of Damara's EP songs "Invisible" was named among the "best of" singles for 2022 by the Journal of Gospel Music.
