    Biography

    Bob Ma, also known as Bobu Sama online, is an American Fingerstyle guitar performing and recording artist. He was born in Alberta, Canada in the year 2000. He currently studies at the Berklee College of Music doing the guitar performance major concentrating in jazz studies. 
 Bob started playing guitar when he was nine years of age, but didn't get into fingerstyle guitar until he was sixteen. His initial inspiration for this style of playing was Tommy Emmanuel, who he later shared a stage with at one of his guitar camps. Bob then later went on to develop his own style of arrangements focusing on a lot of fine details present in each song. He has also released plenty of compositions of his own in his debut original album of twelve songs "Heart Chambers." Though Bob was not exactly happy with the outcome of the songs in this record, it paved the way for him to reflect and grow in his songwriting. 
 Bob also teaches students to arrange and play fingerstyle music as it's rather rare to have experienced fingerstyle teachers. This allowed him to reach students from over twenty countries across the world and contributed greatly to the expansion of the music that he loves.
