Biography
Long Island Native, singer songwriter Chrisette Michele is a soulful, jazzy, honest vocalist. Chrisette Michele has won multiple awards and placements including a Grammy (Be Ok), Grammy Nominations (Better and If I Have My Way) and #1 placement on the Billboard Pop Charts (Epiphany). Beginning in 2007, she's recorded with John Legend, Kierra Sheard, Will.I.Am, Tyrese, Wale, Jay Z and many musical icons. She's toured with Solange, Maxwell, India.Arie, Raheem Devaughn and other great talents. She's written with and for Baby Face, Musiq Soulchild, Robert Glasper, Will.I.Am, N.A.S., Kelis and many other artists. She's also performed along side Kirk Franklin, Patti Labelle, George Duke, Kim Nazarian, and other great live acts. Her music ranges from R&B to Soul, and Gospel to Jazz. Most of all you'll hear a raspy, hip hop bread, guitar driven Long Island girl try her vocal chords over whatever sound leads her. Hear her latest tune "Wait", a sweet soulful piano based lullaby to comfort the hearts of many during the uncertain times of 2020's Spring.
