Biography
A story that began in 2010. Two separate, estranged identities were forged together with their love for raw and energetic sounds. Since their alliance, The Strangerz (Chris Hughes and Hansel Almeida) have become a steady fixture on some of the largest and most prestigious hard dance events across their homeland of Australia. From the outdoor wonderland of Defqon.1 Australia right through to becoming residents on the dark and heavy stage of Masif Saturdays. The Strangerz have shared the decks with Hardstyle colleagues such as Crypsis, E-Force, Frequencerz, Ran D, Radical Redemption, Warface and continue to demolish the stage alongside many more. They have featured on countless mix cd's and had the opportunity to create an official bonus disc for Defqon.1 Australia in 2012. From that moment onwards things started to speed up with signing to the legendary A2 Records, a collaboration with the female machine Deetox and a remix for Frontliner all in 2014 alone. After a fantastic period of overseas exposure, the boys returned their focus back on Australia and created an exclusive tour around Australia and New Zealand with a new Live act that became THE Australian live act on the Mainstage of the Defqon.1 Festival. Combined with a huge collaboration with Chris One in 2016 called “Who’s The Real” and the joining of the Dirty Works Anarchy family in 2017, they are ready and armed to cross genres and push boundaries further than ever before.
