It was in 2004 that Matteo, surrounded by his two partners High Ku and Sly created the group Chinese Man and at the same time became co-founder of the Label Chinese Man Records. However, refusing to be content with this artistic experience that is enriched with each creation of EP and LP (« The Groove Sessions » Vol.1,2,3, « Racing With The Sun », « Sho Bro », « Shikantaza « To name just a few) and live perfomance (DJ set or Chinese Man lives), Matteo continues to reinvent itself, to explore other worlds : alternately composer, producer and director of clips and short films (« Ordinary Man », « The Girl and the Dead »), Matteo is always looking for new projects. And he proves it again with the release of his first solo EP titled « Scaglia » which will be released at the end of 2018. To define the essence of this new album, Matteo evokes the figure of the Chameleon: thus like the reptile, « Scaglia » appears as a very varied set that can stick to multiple environments. « The manufacturing process is hybrid and evolutive, sometimes very personal, sometimes collaborative, entirely composed or created from a sample. (…) The figure of the Chameleon accompanied me through all these experiences to my current transformation, the one I am in the present.
