What was once started as a solo project back in 2017, now is a full band with 4 members who has different kind of musical influence. Cubfires is a band from Jakarta/South Tangerang, Indonesia. Playing pop punk like it’s in the 2000’s with revival midwest emo influence. You’ll like the band more if you listen to the likes of The Get Up Kids, The Starting Line, Algernon Cadwallader, Free Throw, Modern Baseball, etc. Cubfires release its debut single music video “I’ll Leave The Door Unlocked” back in 2017, later in 2018 they release their debut EP “Stay Gone” which also being sold in Japan as well. In 2019, the band released its new single “We Don’t Have Each Other” and later in 2020 released a Discography album remastered by Norway’s label called Slow Down Records and released in cassette format by Knurd Records in 2021. Halfway through 2022, they released a new song called “Deafening Nonsense” in their own YouTube channel which showcase the band’s new direction towards their next physical release.
