Biography

My name Kossisko or Kossi for short (pronounced ko-see-sko or ko-see). I grew up in Berkeley, CA in the Bay Area. My father is an immigrant from the Ivory Coast (Côte D’ivoire) and my mother is white. In my early teens, I was getting into trouble and heading down the wrong path so my father sent me to live in the Ivory Coast for 2 years to get gain some perspective and get my shit together lol. It was rough at first but ended up being one of the most beautiful experiences of my life (there’s so much more to the story but I gotta save that shit for the biopic). When I finally got back the to Cali, I started to take music seriously and here we are lol. I listen and am influenced by all types of music, especially the 80's.
