Biography
Dynamic, Diverse Hip Hop duo DreamTeam made up of Trey and Saso. DreamTeam is a music concept that believes in pushing the envelope, surpassing conventional boundaries and setting new standards in music entertainment. First introduced to audiences with their successful hit single Tsekede leading to their success throughout South Africa. They went on to collaborate with musical giants on the Remix of Tsekede and on their follow up single Phambili. DreamTeam has gone on to release a variety of projects and music singles including their debut album Dreams Never Die, Level Up EP; Saucin’ with 2LeeStark; Jakalas ft Mzambiya and Beast; and more recently Muntu Wami ft DotCom. The crew has not been shy on accolades and recognition either - having won a SA Hip Hop music award for Best Mixtape, two Original Material Awards and countless nominations at Channel O and Metro FM awards subsequent to being featured on two of the biggest songs in the country namely Call Out and Yaya. DreamTeam has collaborate with some of the biggest musicians in the industry from all over South Africa and the rest of the continent. They have worked with the likes of AKA, Nigerian rapper Ice Prince, Naak Music, Donald, Anatii, DJ Dimplez, DJ Tira, Nasty C, iHashi eLimhlophe and more. They have rocked stages both locally in South Africa and Internationally in Europe. DreamTeam has successfully established event properties in Durban such as the annual Dubane Spring Break every September.
