Biography
Brendan Angelides is a composer and music producer based in Los Angeles. His multi-genre records have been released under his previous moniker ESKMO by Interscope, Ninja Tune, Warp, Planet Mu, Milan and his own imprint: Ancestor. Angelides has worked on an array of film and TV projects, including Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why, for which he scored all four seasons and produced the official soundtrack song Only You, performed by Selena Gomez, Showtime Network’s Billions, Scott Free Productions/3311 Productions’ Naked Singularity, and the VR experience short film Minimum Mass, an official selection of the 2020 Tribeca Film Festival. More recently, he scored Netflix’s Echoes and Showtime Networks’ Super Pumped. He is currently scoring Assassin's Creed: Mirage. Angelides is a founding member of the Echo Society, an LA-based non-profit arts organization. It gathers to inspire, challenge, and enrich the community through the creation and performance of new sonic and visual art presented during singular, one-night-only experiences. A roster of international guests have taken part. In 2015, Angelides created FeelHarmonic which connects creatives to collaborate on bringing the deaf community new ways to experience sound. They develop hands-on events that engage and excite while fostering a sense of exploration, communication and connection. These events are brought to schools, educational institutions and communal centers.
