middle eastern singer/rapper & producer born in la based in istanbul & la. growing up in multiple cities aisu was influenced by many different styles and languages of music. Her musical journey started with making beats @ 15, releasing on soundcloud leading to her interest in studying music. On scholarship she was at calarts majoring in “musical arts & experimental pop.” Her unique way of meshing hypnotically forthright bi lingual lyrics with her original style of production completely elevates her sound to another dimension. being an independent female producer/artist from SWANA(southwest asia north africa ‘region), i wanna say is thank you for being here walla. ive been making turkish/english (bilingual) music/rap since 2015. i’m the first doing what i’m doing, the way i’m doing it in this geography and i love to see happen. as i get it all i wanna give back in folds to my community. i’m real time making change in the music industry by existing (one of those ;) on a mission to create so many opportunities for girls/queers and people where i’m from & all over <333 butterflies in my brain, beats in my bedroom. xo aisu
