Biography
They are considered to be genre pioneers. With their debut album „Deaf Dumb Blind“, they created a unique mixture of Metal, Rap and electronic music. In 1993 CLAWFINGER gained world wide success. The album contains hits such as „Nigger“, „The Truth“ and „Warfair“ and is still considered a trend-setting milestone. Not only music-wise, but also because of the lyrics. Their lyrics are socially aware and sharply formulated, unfortunately a lot of the topics are still as relevant now as when they were written. CLAWFINGER are still speaking for a whole generation. Last year „Deaf Dumb Blind“ celebrated its 28th anniversary. In 2022 CLAWFINGER are hitting the road again with an extensive playlist from those years. Fans should be happy to hear a new song from the Scandinavians, as the band has been rather quiet since their last single ”Tear you down” in 2019. No new album has been released since 2007. Now the musicians are back with a new track and new tour dates. Hopefully after more than two years of constantly postponing gigs due to the pandemic, they can finally take place. "We've aged reasonably well," Zak says jokingly. “Apart from some gray hair and bad knees. So if you want to see a bunch of guys in their prime still having a blast and jumping around like lunatics on stage, grab a ticket and come along!”
