Biography
Antithetical to their Catholic school upbringing in Orange County, CA, twin brothers Joe (vocals) and John Arnold (guitar) formed Cerebellion in 2009 with the concept of societal change by challenging one’s own personal beliefs and breaking norms. Achieving the rare balance of technical proficiency and massive poppy hooks, the group delivers a punishing yet melodic sound in the vein of bands like Fear Factory, All That Remains, and Demon Hunter. “You hear something real in their sound that is often missing from music today” - Jesse Cannon, Musformation/Noise Creators. With bassist Marc Battung and drummer Jimmy Schultz, the quartet has been turning heads from their relentless release schedule. The band followed up 2020's “Beyond Our Failures” album with a 4-song EP entitled “Something You Can Say” in September 2021 to both critical and fan acclaim. The band is currently working on new music for release in early 2022. Meanwhile, the band has gone viral on TikTok with a short breakdown clip from the "Feel It Awake (Breakdown Version)" music video (released December 2021), that shows the boys going hard in a small practice room.
