Biography
Hailing from the famous landscapes of Byron Bay, All-Star Rock lineup Engine Three Seven emerged from the small local scene and hit the ground running. In the band's first year, E37 won the 2005 Byron Bay Bluesfest Crowd Choice Award and performed at the world renowned festival for a two year tenure. The band subsequently went on to take out the 2006 North Coast Dolphin Award for Best Rock Song and & Best Male Vocal Keeping up with the momentum and taking their music to the next level, the band picked up and moved to Melbourne in 2007. They were quickly signed to the Saltar Hype roster which resulted in tours with international acts and sold out headline gigs in support of their highly anticipated second EP, 'Atmosphere' This record spread its wings a bit more for the band and with the follow up release of their live DVD 'Becoming Atmosphere', E37 cemented themselves as a Premier Rock act in Australia. Sadly, years of touring took its toll and in 2013, three of the four band members decided to call it a day. With the support of the E37 fanbase, lead singer and founding member Casey Dean pushed forward; going on to finish what would become E37's crowning achievement The incredible full length album 'Metasiah'. E37 is currently on pause while Dean focuses on his other musical endeavours including Warnings, Casey Cassette, Secret Tsunami and his new role as Lead Sound Designer for the Melbourne based pinball machine manufacturing company Haggis Pinball.
