Arx Atrata are an act from the United Kingdom, playing black metal with atmospheric and ambient aspects. Inspired by bands like ColdWorld, Winterfylleth, Agalloch, and Fen, several years of writing and recording led to debut album 'Oblivion' being released in December 2013 to critical acclaim. Two more full-length albums 'Spiritus In Terra' (2016) and 'The Path Untravelled' (2019) followed, with a instrumental split album with Bleakwinter Shrine landing in April 2021, entitled 'The Warrior Cycle'.
