Biography

Screaming Maldini were a Sheffield-based band who formed in 2009 and split at the end of 2014. In that time they released several singles and EPs with UK-based Alcopop! Records, and a self-title debut album with French label, Hip!Hip!Hip! in late 2013. This album was also released by Japanese label P-Vine Records in early 2014 where it reached #3 in the iTunes alternative chart. In December 2014 they released their second album, Everything Unsaid on P-Vine Records. They played their final show on December 5th 2014 at Queens Social Club Sheffield. https://youtu.be/5EDBrNGpOU4 Screaming Maldini were, in no particular order, Ben Hoblyn, Chris Noble, Annie Rushworth, Gina Walters of Before Breakfast, Tim Walker and Jonathan Cornish of Bad Brew, Andy Nesbitt of Renegade Brass Band, Tom Robinson, and Nick Cox of Minimal Animal. The band regularly featured the talents of cellists Benjamin Eckersley and Lucy Revis (of Before Breakfast), Ella Taylor Soprano, and a whole host of other Sheffield-based musicians.
