|| Contact: info@oneeyeclosedjp.com || Tokyo-based band 'One Eye Closed' is a 4 piece mixture band consisting of REI (vo), None (gtr), Yasu (ba), Kay (dr). Influenced by a wide range of genres, One Eye Closed combines Western and Japanese elements and mixes genres, such as rock, RnB, hip hop, and jazz, to create a fresh, new style of music. Driven by storytelling, honest lyrics, dynamic playing, and strong live performances, One Eye Closed is one of the driving forces in the underground J-rock scene from Tokyo with releases EP “Cain” and “Abel” focusing themes on depression, anxiety, loss, and individualism. On May 28, 2021, One Eye Closed will release their debut album "Adam & Eve" a collection of past songs that were never released in physical form. On July 20, 2022, One Eye Closed released their EP "DISTANCE" with songs featuring AJ Rebollo of ISSUES and Nikki Simmons. From November 2020, One Eye Closed officially joined London-based international record label JPU Records’ artist roster. One Eye Closed has also provided their song “Low” for the video game "No Straight Roads" and "UNBEATABLE" [NSR collab stage], and "All of Us" for "No Straight Roads: Encore Edition" as the Extended Ending Theme Song on October 2021.
