Biography
Steve Amerson has established a reputation as an excellent tenor with a vocal flexibility that allows him to feel at home in both popular/contemporary music and classical literature. With the wealth and depth of his performance experience, Steve is known as America’s Tenor. Steve has been a featured soloist with symphonies across the United States and abroad including appearances at Carnegie Hall and the Hollywood Bowl. Steve was chosen to record demonstration tapes used by Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo and Jose Carreras in preparation for “The 3 Tenors” performances throughout the world. Presently, much of Steve’s time is dedicated in presenting concerts based on his Front Row Center projects, which are collections of inspiring songs from the Broadway stage and screen. He has recorded sixteen solo recordings including his latest Amazed By America. Along with his concert schedule, Steve does studio singing for various recording projects, movies, commercials and television shows. His voice can be heard on over 175 feature films. Projects on which Steve’s voice is heard include Get Smart, King Kong, Fantastic Four, Touched By An Angel, Men In Black, Indiana Jones; Temple of Doom, Hunt For Red October, Glory, Home Alone, Home Alone 2, Beauty & The Beast, Aladdin, Hercules, Hook, Cheers, The Flintstones, Academy Awards Shows and commercials for IBM, Honda, Lexus, Nissan, Toyota, Kibbles & Bits, Texaco, Ford Trucks, Diet Coke and Delta Air Lines.
