Biography

PJAE is an R&B/Soul artist based in Oklahoma City and is currently featured on the 21st season of American Idol airing February 19th, 2023. R&B/Soul has always played a massive part in PJAE's life. From being raised in the basement of a gospel baptist church to hearing record after record Saturday mornings in his childhood home, music, in general, has always surrounded him. PJAE's debut single, "be that someone," written in partnership with Song House and produced by Grammy-winning producer and songwriter Femke, was slotted to be his first release to the public. With his attention to detail and vocal ability, we can be sure to expect more from PJAE this year. PJAE strives to approach his music in a fresh way, featuring the sounds of his gospel upbringing, jazz tonality, and modern pop instrumentation. He can be compared sonically to Pop/R&B singer Sam Smith, UK R&B singer James Vickery, Pop singer JP Saxe, Soul singer JP Cooper, and more.
