Biography

With roots deeply grounded in the same local scene that birthed acts such as August Burns Red, Texas in July, and This or the Apocalypse, this small 4 piece metal outfit brings a sonic palette of punishing breakdowns, melodic edge and aggressive riffs. The band was birthed out of the creative efforts of brothers Zach Blank (drums) and Mitch Blank (guitar), who started the project while still in high school. Not long after, Dan Schweikert (bass) joined and the three became the backbone of the band through an otherwise revolving lineup of vocalists. After the departure of Matt McNamara in 2022, ALAL welcomed Anton Corch as the current front man of the project. Over the past 8 years As Lions and Lambs has released three studio albums, chronicling the band's evolution and development as an up-and-coming icon in the metalcore genre. After signing with Sancrosanct records and the release of their latest singles “No Return” and “Hate Speech”, As Lions and Lambs are now eagerly anticipating a full 2021 studio release and the chance to reconnect with the Skully Squad at festivals and shows begin to re-emerge.
