LOVELY. You have found me. You have made a wise choice my friend. My name is Andy and BURNT LOG is my musical project. Having been in bands in my youth it was clear that control freakery would eventually lead to a solo endeavour. For decades BURNT LOG lay waiting beneath the soil. Inspired by old friend and early band-mate Permahorn in 2017, BURNT LOG began to stir. THEN, you guessed it - Lockdown happened and the work computer was at my disposal. I was pleasantly surprised by my output. I make music about being sad, being old, being frustrated as well as some totally made up stuff. Influences range from Holy Fawn to Scott Walker. Last year I put out my first EP Parasite and a few people liked some of it. Debut album The Punishing Stage has arrived and 2023 continues be the year of BURNT LOG! No time to rest - new single The New Reality is out now.
