Biography
Ex-Taking Back Sunday guitarist/vocalist Fred Mascherino started The Color Fred as a side-project in the early 2000s. After leaving TBS in 2007, Fred released “Bend to Break” whose videos for “If I Surrender” and “Hate to See You Go” were played regularly on good ol’ fuse TV. Fred continued to tour over the years in different bands, playing for Say Anything, The Lemonheads and Terrible Things. Now, getting back to The Color Fred, the band has reformed and released the album “A Year in Change”. Fourteen new songs that bring back that feeling we used to feel, with lyrics evolving to where our lives are at now. Catch them on tour in 2023 with Alex Melton and The Spill Canvas.
