Biography

Paul Izak is an organic farmer, yoga practitioner and surfer who is raising his family in the back roads of Waimanalo on the Island of Oahu. His music has reached millions around the world who are also committed to a simple, clean and healthy land-based lifestyle. Paul was born and raised on the Hawaiian Islands and first picked up a guitar during his first year in college, then hand drums while living on the Island of Lana’i. He came home to lead weekly drum circles on Kailua Beach which connected his community through creative expression. This evolved into the fully immersive Yogarden Music Gatherings, a conscious art & music event - open to all ages - which transformed urban spaces into a forest garden oasis populated w/ local wildcrafters, vegan delights, traditional healing practitioners, live art installations and more. All of these influences, plus Paul’s passion for yoga, organic gardening, surfing and music have created the unmistakable Folksy-Bluesy-Rocksy-Rootsy-Reggae sound that is Paul Izak Music. Paul’s full length albums include, Peaceful Words (2010), Seeds of Love (2011), Everlasting Light (2013), Campfire Anthems, Vol. I & II (2013), Back to the Roots (2017). Representing a healthy and simplistic life, Paul is a believer in honoring yourself as an individual so that you may better contribute to your community through healthy sustainable practices.
