Biography

Kula Shaker, the last great heretics of British rock. Named after a 9th century South Indian King, the band’s esoteric mix of psychedelic riffs, mantras and rock and roll mysticism laughed in the face of Britpop orthodoxy in the 90’s. Having completed their 2022 album '1st Congregational Church of Eternal Love (and free hugs)', Kula Shaker ventured out once more, onto the battlefield of love, to wage war on darkness and despair, with the help of their beautiful audiences, to spread good vibes, raise the spiritual vibration -- and go slightly deaf in the process. They are currently in the middle of writing/recording KS7, the new installment of the Kula Shaker story, which is already shaping up to be very exciting....
