Ekichetu is a Rapper/R&B artist from the Oglala Lakota tribe in Pine Ridge, SD. His name “Ekichetu” is a Lakota word that means to recover from sickness, and/or come back to life. Ekichetu revolves his music around the idea of recovering, or rejuvenating. His ultimate goal for his music is to tell human stories from his own perspective in hopes to connect those who feel or have felt that they are recovering just like him.
